So I bought my 94 Talon for $1500. Broke a control arm. Fixed it, took it for a spin. A very spirited spin.
I was coming up to a stop sign so I pushed in the clutch to pull it out of gear and slow down. I noticed something weird when it felt like I hadn't released the clutch before doing so. I push the clutch back in and nothing. Wont go into gear. So I instinctively rev-match it into 2nd gear. Push the clutch in and blip the throttle and the car jerks but then the clutch decides to disengage? So I take of in 2nd and limp it home. It will disengage the clutch if I blip the throttle...
Haven't pulled the trans to find out. Clutch fork? Pivot ball? I get full movement of the slave cylinder so my hydraulic portion of the clutch is fine. I get the weirdest DSM problems
I'm wondering if the clutch itself (ACT 2600) is bad... I hope not. I'd rather replace the pivot ball and clutch fork...
Thanks in advance for the help.
