So I have a problem,

I drove through a puddle and really messed up my alternator and sucked up some water. With all that fixed my car runs fine, except in open loop. I took a log and my wideband AFR reads ~14.7 under closed loop, and then when open loop hits it changes to ~17 and runs really lean and starts to stumble. This makes me think that the sensor itself is actually reading correctly. I do after all get the right AFRs during idle. However when looking at my log, the FrontO2 is not cycling voltage. I have it set to simulate narrowband, but it does not show that its cycling.

Before I spend money on a new sensor, can you guys point out anything else that might be the issue?

Thanks

If the car starts to stumble, it isn't a faulty gauge. If your front o2 is not cycling or reading 0 volts, it is dead and it is wrecking your open loop cruising.

I just had this problem with my car. Car ran fine until cruising at 3k rpm, then started leaning out and sputtering, logged o2 and found it wasn't cycling, replaced o2 with a Bosch unit and fixed everything right up. Only $65 for a new unit from VATOzone.

That's interesting. If It's not cycling Why am I getting proper AFR readings on my wideband log? I would image a bad sensor to mess up It's readings as well
