Hello again!

I was able to replace all of my shocks minus one of the rear ones..

I was able to pull it off with a gear puller (like I did the other 3) but this one pulled out the plastic (urethane) and the circular metal bushing is stuck.

any ideas of how I can get that out?

thanks,

Edit: Here is a pic to show what I'm talking about. the Rubber came off with the shock but the metal cylinder is stuck in place

I would slice it lengthwise with a Dremel and use a chisel to make the split wider. Should be easy to pry off after that. Be sure to anti-seize the mounting stud when installing the new shock.

Good luck. I had it happen to all 4. I saved the cutting and risk and bought a set of new shocks. Id say replace it and the bushings if it is just one. Shouldn't be to expensive if your using stocker struts, if your using agx or something like that then a lot higher but time is money to me, and sometimes it's better to save battles for later on down the road.
