Stroked? Stroker? Whats does that mean?

I keep hearing about strokers and stroked engines and i see there is a 2.3L stroked 4g63 in the parts catalogue and im wondering what is this stroking? Whats the difference? Anyone have or build one of these engines? Inquiring minds want to know

basically in a nut shell with out getting into it the piston will move farther giving you more displacement with out boreing it out

usually parts needed are connecting rods and a crank
