alright taking off my exhaust manifold to replace one of the studs that is busted off. 3 of the 4 bolts that hold the turbo to the manifold came off but one of them is stripped like a son of a bi***. little bastard will not come out! it twists freely with my hand i can turn and turn it but the bi*** wont come out!ok thats question one! now after i get it out how am i going to retap it! can i buy something at like autozone or napa?
this car is really pissing me off! its been sitting in my car port 90% of the time ive owned it and im about to get a can of gas and match and the bi*** burn!
someone help me please!

Sounds like it snapped halfway down in there. You migh have to remove the manifold along with the turbo exhaust housing. If you already unbolted the manifold from the head, all you need to do is unbolt the o2 housing from the downpipe, and unbolt the ring clamp that holds the exhaust housing to the compressor and center cartridge. A light tap with a mallet should seperate all three pieces and you can work on getting the manifold from the exhaust housing.

Once you have it seperated, you might have to heli-coil that stripped thread opening, and order replacement bolts. Don't bother to recycle those bolts, who knows what condidion they are after years of heating up and cooling down with use. Chuck the stud that's in the exhaust housing as well, it just makes installing and removing the manifold that much more difficult.

alright i took my turbo out. all of it! took me alittle bit but i got it! so im gunna get a hack saw and cut the bolt in half. then just drill it and tap it out!!. glad i did this i even fixed the broken stud for my exhaust manifold too!. alright so now i hear ppl talking about this helicoil kit for retapping. where can i snag one of these at???
