Didn't see a thread so I thought I'd get this one started.

Details:
California Speedway
Gates Open: 6 am
Tech: 7 am
Race start: 9 am

$10 to watch
$20 to race

FYI:
If you have a biggie turbo then you "need" a fire jacket. If anything tell tech it's a stock turbo

How big is biggie? I've got a S256 not what I would consider big but I don't know about the tech guys.

I'm planning on going if I can get my car tuned on Fri night.

It depends on many factors. If it's polished like mine, then they might ask for a jacket. Sometimes they don't bother. One guy passed tech with a 60-1 & no jacket. Another had the tech giving him sh*t, because he had an EVO3 16G...go figure?!? If anything tell the tech it's your 1st time & you didn't know. Or borrow mine during tech inspection.

I app it. I am really hoping I get to go. I've been working like hell all week to get my fuel setup put together and I'm almost done.

Do you know of any other DSM's going on Sat?

I'm pretty sure I'm going out there with the 92. About what time are you guys planning on getting there?

I am planning on leaving here around 4-430 so depending on traffic I would get there around 530 or 6. I just went and picked up a trailer so I can haul my car JIC. I'm still not 100% confident in it yet and I would hate to get stranded that far away from home.

Well I got the car tuned so I def going tonight I'm gonna have to baby it off the line though. I tried to launch it last night and the clutch said @!#K you. So I have to figure that out, I don't know if the clutch is going out or if I'm loosing pressure. Oh well, maybe I'll donate my clutch to the dragstrip.

Does anyone know if they have helmet rentals there b/c I don't have one.

ha ha donate your clutch! The way my second gear is I might donate a tranny to the dragstrip I don't know about the helmet rentals... I'm still having a little trouble tuning my bi***, but it's running ok. I have an extra motorcycle helmet and I plan on getting there around 4:30-5ish. I'll bring it if you want, It has a red mohawk on it though

Sure I'll were it if I can't find another one. I prob won't get there til 530 or 6. I'll look for you when I get there. I've never been up there before is there a way to save a small area in the pits for the 3 DSM's that have said they were going?

i was out there spectating and only saw one dsm make a pass as i was walking to the stands and didnt notice any in the pits.... what gives? I gotta get the laser on the road and go out there for some racin soon..

There is usually about six of us but yesterday just didn't work out for anybody but Hugo. That and in the middle of Summer I don't try as hard to clear my schedule to get out there. All day in the heat in Fontana isn't good for my pale ass.

yeah i work right next door at CSI california steel industries and I get pretty crispy in the summer.. it was crazy hot and I saw a few hondas breaking things on the track.. probably something to do with the heat.
