Well i searched for this a read several postings but nothing quite the same or even resolved so im gonna make my own posting

I got my car back up and going today and first off its hard to start no code for cts and it was replaced about 2 months ago but i did delete my fiav and its below zero here any ideas of what i can do yo help i only deleted it because i put a smim on and coolant lines no longer reach

2. The car any time im driving and i take it out of gear it tries to die vacume drops to 5 and then goes to about 15 and then goes to 10 and stays for the most part sometimes it will even stall and it stalls everytime after i boost

Im not seeing any lean or rich conditions according to my afx gauge so im not sure what it could be is this a symptom of deleting the fiav i dont see why it wpuld be since alot of people do this mod

Please help this is driving me crazy

Hey jesse I don't think that the fiav is the problem mine would stall but not after boost It did stall one day but hasn't lately, but Im going to tune this thing soon.

Check for boost leaks/and or vacuum leaks. Are you running stock mas?

Unfortunatly i have the sd setup in the car but couldnt get it going and im trying to teach myself totune and i figured ill learn on maf first and its 1g maf :notgood:

i also noticed last night while im going in 1st i get above 15mph and it sounds like im hitting 2 step and car bogs

Sounds like boost leak. Also since your back on stock maf is your bov recirculated?

No its not i cant find hose anywhere to recirculate it because of the piping i have for my fmic and my intake pipe is ghetto on there its for a stock frame turbo and i just flipped it around to fit the 4 inch holset compressor housing so the recirc tube is pointing down

Its not going that rich at all when i shift its hitting like 13.8afr and im running consistant between 14.3 to 15.4afr

Can you post a log? im assuming you have Dsmlink.

I was going to post a log but the laptop i was tunning with the motherboard failed junky micro center laptops now i know why it was cheap

When you delete the fiav you get rid of the isc motor which helps the motor idle/ low rpm power when cold.now cold starts are going to be a little rough and idle will not be perferct untill your near operating temp. I would get the fiav block off plate(can be found in a bunch of places for about ten bucks) so you can run the isc without having coolant lines run to the throttle body.
When I got my car the pervious owner deleted the fiav and isc which made the car horrible in the morning. Especially when I'm running late to work

I have a 90tb i cant use a blockoff plate but im going to be putting a q45 on when i get the coupler to go from 3.5 to a 2.5 pipe

On the first dsm I had I took of the recirc just to hear how loud the blow off valve was around the block, it's a good thing I was only going around the block, it ran horribly. Maybe work up some Home Depot magic and fab something up, you're going to be there anyways to make a BLT :D

I honestly dont like the sound kinda drives me nuts but with the way the recirc on the intake pipe is its out of the question as its barley above the shifter cable because as i stated before its for a stock turbo but had a 4" end so i flipped it around to make it work and its only till i get another chance to give sd tuning a try and get a kinda ok tune on maf like it is
