My stereo in my car, a 3000gt stereo but technically the same as the stock dsm one, well the display never lit up when I got it. Well installing it in my new car I decided to take the faceplate off... checked the bulbs and they are fine, then tested the voltage, only 1.3v is getting to the bulbs. So I figure something is burnt out and I can easily hack this. But JUST NOW I pulled my phone out of the tape player (yeah perfect spot! Fits like a glove) and the display turned on!!!! I knew it would go out if I touched it and it did.... So anyone know? Anyone have this issue?
