So just the other day out of nowhere when I went to start my car, it made a funny squeaking sound and hesitated to start but once started it ran no problem. Was confused, so I turned it off and went to start, same thing squeaky sound, hesitation then starts.

So tonight I checked a different battery, same thing. My battery is in the trunk so I check my ground lines, actually made a new ground connection straight to the frame under the car, and check the ground on the motor, cleaned up connections. tried to start it again, same weird hesitation with a couple sqeaks sounds, then starts right up and runs fine.

I am kind of lost on what it is.....I can't tonight but tomorrow will hopefully take a video and upload it because it will start after it makes a few weird squeaks and almost feels like the battery is going to die, but then starts up and runs fine but the sounds don't sound like a battery about to die.

Any input is appreciated.

Check the signal wire to the starter before you jump on the bad starter bandwagon.

Mine wiggles loose all the time and sounds exactly the same.

If you didn't dress it in a hula skirt it probably wouldn't be so inclined to shake it's hips all the time.

Anyway, I had a signal wire do the same damn thing on my 91 Civic all the effing time, it got old but I eventually fixed it.
