Kelowna,
Please don't kill me for posting another BOV Venting question :p

In my defence it is with regards to recirculating and not venting with a standalone setup...

I have found hundreds of posts on Venting do's and dont's but am having a tough time finding the pros and cons of recirculating in a speed density AEM EMS Setup.

Some of the posts i have read said to recirculate even with a standalone setup because it will help spool up time. (hoping this is the case) Then i read a couple posts that contradicted the last statement, saying the disruptions in the air are too harsh on the turbo. (not worth the quicker spool up for me)

In my case i do not care about the cool sound. Just strictly performance and safety.

If it makes a difference, it is a greddy type s BOV, super 20g and of course supporting mods.

Thank-you

I don't think you'd be able to tell a difference, personally. One of my buddies has basically the same setup I have, except he has a MAF-T and I have a 2g MAF- He's venting, and i'm recirculated, and transient boost between the cars feels almost identical. You could honestly try either way, but...

Most of the fast guys I know who are running big turbo's run the TiAl 50mm which has no capability for recirculation- YMMV
