it sounds like its coming from the upper part of the dash
my tach doesnt work either i took out the gauge cluster and the speaker and i dont see anything loose or anything
does anyone have this problem too?

Define upper part of the dash? like above your cluster? or over by the airbag??? My freind had a 90 TSI and he had 2 nuts lose on his Stut tower causing it to flex a bit haha, made a squeaking noise, idk if thats the problem, just a random idea... ROFLLOL

i cant pinpoint it but it doesnt do it at idle and kinda gets louder when i go faster
its very very weird i must say

its in the drivers side of the car on the dash somewhere
just sounds like something is squeaking its crazy i just turn the music up haha

this is sooo confusing i have no idea on what it is
anyone else have this problem could it be the radio or something?

Well heres an idea I was looking at today as we were ripping apart my dash to remove the AC system.. Mite it be when you installed ya I.C.E ya mite have not tightened up something that is pulling wires or something up there just and Idea I thought about. Also my freind said sometimes the tweaters up on the dash... " dunno if you have any" the bolts can come lose and cause it so move around and squeek haha!
