Okay so i've searched but with no progress, and i also have a feeling im going to just have to start replacing things trial and error.

My car did this 2-3 weeks ago and then stopped, but started again today out of nowhere. I was just driving along 55mph or so going back to my apartment and it felt like i had 10lbs of wheel weights on one side of one wheel. Let me note that my driver side upper ball joint needs replaced and my front motor mount is about shot but it doesnt make sense. It seemed like the longer i kept the steady speed the more vibration i felt and it started becoming audible.
I pulled off the road as i did when this occoured before, got out, said a few choice words, and no more vibration haha. Idk if my car needs the occasional talking to or what but i was wondering if anyone has experienced this sort of thing (minus the talking part) when their upper bj or something was bad?

I guess im going to have to man up and get under the car in 20 degree weather to see if everythings tight first (which i believe everything is since i used air tools to put everything together)

I think i found the problem. My driver side upper ball joint is not too good, but i've seen and driven on worse, but in combination with that, my lower intermediate ball joint....the lower control arm that is L shaped is also bad, and by bad i mean terrible. There's about a qtr inch of front to back play in my wheel as well as the up and down from the upper ball joint. blah
My passenger side is solid, all the joints are like brand new.

Now i have to find where i can buy that L shaped BJ

Changed my lower L shaped ball joint today (didnt have the money for the upper just yet), car feels COMPLETELY different. No more squeaky brakes, no significant vibration, its awesome :)

Sounds like a bad CV shaft, Mine did the same thing (Look for inner boots to be torn)

Mine only did it on the highway after driving for about 5 minutes and would get worse and worse.

I had vibration 1-5th gear from 20- whatever the speedlimit is :p. My lower L shaped CA was toast. The rubber bushing on the inside part of it was completely dry rotted and the actual ball joint itself, wow, felt like there was sand inside the joint and you could also move it with your pinky.
The upper one IS bad too but its also over 140 for a new one, and it has to be ordered anyways. It just makes me wonder how long it was bad since i've had squeaky brakes even before my car broke 17 months ago!
Lol, new motor (in shed), new turbo/s, new fuel setups, new tires, old bushings and ball joints
This car is going to be brand new when im done dumping money into it
blah
