spark plugs

I was just wondering if there was a certin spark plug brand or type to use on DSM's. I just changed my spark plugs, there was a set of NGK's in there and i put in a set of champion copper plugs. Now my car idles high(2000) when i first start up. i didnt keep the old plugs stupid mistake, should i go back to NGK's and what about platnum plugs

Yea man, stick with NGKs. For semi stock cars stick with the ngk bpr6es, thats what the they come with. If you upgrade down the line the ngk bpr7es are a colder plug that work better. And you dont need any platnum or iridium plugs i believe they get to hot.
