yea so my cars got like 100,000 miles on it, what are some good plugs to be using? i was thinkin bosh 4s but someone told me they would be bad for my car..

I need to know for my setup now please:D

blitz bov, cam gears, huge front mount intercooler, dejon upper blow through intercooler pipe, custom lower intercooler piping, turbo xs high performance boost controller, straight exhaust 02 dump, cold air intake, k&n filter, 3 inch catback exhaust, Coil On Plug system, Ported 14b, 1050cc FIC injectors, walbro 255 rewired AEM AFPR. I'm planning on running 15 psi daily and crank it up real high at the track. Like 23-24 psi. will i need 6's or 7's?

7's ought to suit you just fine.

You don't want those BOSCH +4's in your DSM-horrible plugs -
are the denso platinum tt's any good?
You don't want anything platinum or iridium in your DSM system since these were not designed for this use - just good ol' NGK's

don't listen to those people at Auto"CRAP" zone - "wal-mart" of auto parts store. They'll sell you stuff that you won't need if you're not careful.

You'll be fine with a bpr6es less than ~17psi or so. Bpr7es should work well after that. Proper gap will become more crucial with higher boost levels.
I've had good success with running the non-resistor plugs. When I had my dsm I ran the br7es and seemed to be able to squeeze another degree or two of timing in most rpm areas

Try 7's and see what happens at 15lbs of boost (I'm doing 6's at stock 14lbs boost with no problems) after awhile, but if the plugs are black after a good run, it means that they're too cold and you definitely need 6's.

but always gap at .028" for both plugs.

Use that figure to gauge on - start cold then work up to hot at your PSI range.

some guy at kragen said it was good for my car
They're all the salesman type and prob doing a commision on what they sell ... and they love customers who don't know what the "eff" is going on and will sell the customer something that they don't need, but will sell to the customer what the salesman wants to sell them.

NGK BPR6EKN <--this is what autozone sells. Will this suffice
(why do people HAVE to go to Auto"CRAP"zone and listen to those guys...???) .. why waste your money on the dbl electrode plugs (which the spark is only going to jump to one ground anyway) that cost twice as much as what we are recommending along with what the motor is designed to run with ... along with not trying to listen to us?

BPR6ES for stock to lightly modded. BPR7ES for higher modded motors...

I just picked up 95 eagle talon tsi 20g turbo 15 psi boost. What type plugs should I use an what. Should I gap them at.

Also what type an weight oil should I be using. Guy i got it from said he used Rotella 20w40 or 20w50. Is that correct oil

What dsm Kauai said
The oil question is best answered, yes use oil of some sort and change it every 3000 miles.
I've seen people on this site using every band type and weight of oil
No one oil will be right for this engine more a factor of the condition and age of the engine and how much you abuse or don't abuse the car
FWIW I use either 10/30 or 10/40 conventional "high mileage" formulation whatever's reasonably priced at Walmart. Then again I use my very lightly modded car as a daily commuter.
Sounds like a fun car, enjoy.
