Hey, I own a small performance shop in El Paso, TX, and I'm thinking about hosting a Southwest DSM National next year at Tucson Dragway. It'll probably be either a month before or a month after the Shootout. I've already talked to the dragstrip, and they're on board. Right now, I'm just trying to see if people would actually be interested, but I have a feeling the answer is yes. From what I'm tracking, it has been a while since the Southwest has had a DSM-specific drag racing event. I think it'd be a great opportunity to get the community together, make some passes, and have a good time. Let me know...
