Hello. I am basically checking what clutch I sould get this week. I am looking at the south bend clutches and I am trying to find one that matches the act 2600. My car is almost stock, but I have a lot of plans! I want about 300 hp/ tqu to the wheels. Any ideas are welcome. Thanks!

Well, I know a guy that owns a shop and the only brand that gets a 2 year warrenty is south bend. I am getting it installed cheap.

I'd get the HD Stage 2. You don't need more than that, so why pay for more? It should be about equivalent to the ACT 2100, and that's all you need for 300whp.

On a side note, my brother has a 300zx TT and recently put a South Bend clutch in. He researched clutches for months before deciding on South Bend, and he absolutely loves it. I'm sure you'll feel the same.

Hey thanks brute. Would you recomend that 2100 even though I have a GSX? I though a 2600 would be more of what I was looking for because of the extra strain from the all wheel drive.

Well it all depends on what you're planning to do. The 2100 is more streetable, because it does not wear your leg out. It has more of a stock clutch feel. The 2600, however, can handle more abuse. If you're going for 300whp and doing a couple launches, the 2100 (or equivalent) should be fine. But if it's going to be a track car or seeing a lot of launches/abuse, I'd say go for the 2600. If you ever think you'll upgrade later, get the 2600 so that it'll give you a little bit of buffer for future upgrades.

Personally, I'd get the 2600. Everyone thinks they'll be happy with 300whp, and no one ever is. So why not buy once, buy right? The pedal feel on the 2600 isn't THAT bad unless you're a totall p.ussy. If you're going to be launching with the AWD, definitely get the 2600.
