I have a 97 Spyder GS in addition to the 92 in my profile and lately its burning a good bit of oil.I estimate about 1 qt. every 100 miles or so and I keep fouling my #1 plug and when I start the car in the mornings it usually runs on 3 cylinders till I change that plug or it fires and burns the oil off after a second. When I pull that #1 plug its usually coated in oil and thats all I can assume is fouling it and my guess is its the valve seals.

Any second opinions?

Last time I did that less than a year ago the compression was near factory specs...I was really surprised. It couldn't hurt to do again though so I'll give that a try.

Haha, tell me about it man...it seems like its been going downhill pretty fast lately. The ISC I believe is messed up as well as maybe an o2 sensor or both.
