my question would be i want to perform all maitenance on the car. while im at it. i guess the real question is i need a list of parts to replace when i do the water pump. anyone help me out?:talon:

Since it is out, I would do;
timing components (the whole works and oem)
oil pump (also referred to as front case)
balance shaft eliminate
front and rear main seals
clutch and throw out bearing
cam seals
drive axle seals
and any other items you want to add. This is actually my list except for a few more other things that I am doing here in the next week since my motor is out and apart. It all depends on your budget. How much do you want to spend now vs later. One thing is make sure you get oem on things that are important. Saving a couple bucks here and there is not worth what you will end up spending on your car later. Good luck.

apperciate the quick reply. im trying to figure out everthing i could possible want or need to replace when i do my water pump

Also whats the benefit of the balance shaft delete?

Less rotating mass. Less likely to tear that belt if you dont have one. You wont ruin you timing belt as well since it will be gone.
