2G Small light wont turn off

So i recently got my 2g eclipse. While i was waiting for license plates to arrive, I noticed a small blue light on the passenger side that never turns off. Im not sure if this comes from factory or if the previous owner has added it, but how do I turn it off? I think it might have a parasitic draw on the battery

(Also im very new to this car stuff and I have no clue what parts do what)

That is not factory light. You’ll have to trace the wire back and see if it was added by a previous owner just for cosmetic effect, or if it is part of a intrusion alarm. If it is an LED, yes it will have parasitic draw, but not much. It should be disconnected.
