granted my car isn't the fastest thing out there or near 13s by any means, but the outside of the car is gonna look the same from here on out, or I might drop it 1.2 to 1.5 all the way around, but other than that the car looks like this

granted there is a 4" exhaust tip, but when I do turbo it, who thinks it would be considered a sleeper since it'll run low 13s???

13's isnt in the sleeper catagory. When you run low 11's or even 10s and have a car that looks like yours, then i would say yes.

But as of right now, No.

so mid 12s on new better internals, and boosting about 16 psi with all the trimmings might work then eh???

Your car won't be a sleeper, but should be a whole lot more fun to drive:thumb:

Know my buddys rusted nasty looking 89 Civic HB with a B16, thats a sleeper;)

I know this is off-point... but you have a boost gauge mounted in there... but you have no source of boost. Come on.

actually it WILL be a sleeper...most of the above posts are ignorant.

when i see a NA eclipse i immediately almost know that it isnt worth my time b/c those cars are HORRIBLY slow. So yea, it will be a sleeper...I still hate NA's though.

13's is capable under 10psi of boost..which within a year I shall have...it's all about preping for the boost is why I have a boost gauge and am getting the upgraded fuel pump and bigger tb

i didnt know low 15's was considered a sleeper
hahahaha...I would say my boys 89' with an h22 is a sleeper, but still...its a honda.

Hey guys don't pick on my buddys Honda:nono: that thing is like a go-cart on crack. The only draw back is everything but the motorLOL :D

Put your stock wheels back on when you go turbo to make the exterior look completely stock. And by the way my friend's turbocharged RS ran a 12.9 @ Moroso about a month ago:thumb:. He has a Hahn racecraft kit ( I believe it's a stage 3), a bulletproof built bottom end from Howell automotive, FMIC and his fuel system completely upgraded. When you do turbo hide your FMIC behind a grill and see if someone wont think you're just a lousy N/T until you blow them away and surprise the shit out of them:sneaky:. The only thing that might make your car considered not to be a sleeper would be that catback/custom turboback exhaust that you're gonna need.:D

the stock rims for my car are 14x5 steelies and don't grip for sh!t now, so I put some 16x7s on them...I think the 16s could look like some kid with just rims and an exhaust and make people not think anything of it...least that's what I'm going for

Agreed.
Also... the drilled/slotted rotors don't exactly fit on a sleeper, unless they're necessary for autocross or the like. Rims? Not sleeper. Vinyls/stickers? Nope.
And that exhaust tip is HUGE, compared to the pipe feeding it. Definitely not sleeper (and referred to as a 'horse-f***' exhaust locally).

If you want it to be a 'true' sleeper, try to find performance parts that mimic the look of OEM parts, all around. Lowering is out. You want it to look like it just rolled off the factory lot... stealthing any new buttons or gauges as much as possible. Take everything even possibly considerable as rice, and ban it. The gauge pod you have is acceptable, as it keeps them out of the general line of sight, for the most part. Ditch the $3 Air/Fuel gauge. It's a lightshow, nothing more.

And as noted above.. if you want a turbo, just buy a GS-T. Save headaches, hassles, and time as compared to tossing a turbo kit on a car never designed to see forced induction.

if you know of a gst for sale that runs low 14s high 13s for just over a grand with a great interior and good paint you let me know

yea i'd have to agree with mightymousestd everyone trys to put down the fact of me throwing a turbo on my n/t, but my car is in emaculate condition for a 93, the paint even still shines.. so whats the point of buying a turbo and dealing with some1 elses problems and also to a couple of people who posted n/t's can't run 13's with a turbo set up thrown on it, thats not true..because of the higher compression and a couple other small things,if u take a stock n/t w/turbo and a stock turbo the n/t will be victorious, just cant handle as much boost thats all, and tuning might be a lil more of a b*tch
