I didnt know what to search for and did and came up with nothing. Yesterday I installed my B&M knockoff from eBay and It works great! It sits and inch higher then stock so Im almost touching the a/c vent while resting my hand on the knob. I want to cut it 2-2.5 inches off it under the thread then weld the threaded part back on so its bit lower. If it is done correctly will it still work as a shifter as in will I have any shifting problems being lower and what not? Also is that a solid stick or is it hollow like the stocker? It feels solid but Im not sure. So I need your input, thanks

ok i geuss ill post on dsmtalk since no one here knows :toobad:

Yep. That site is much better at this level of question. Good luck. - Jtoby
