I need a picture of how the stock or a pacesetter quickshifter sits in there after its installed... with everything hooked up... please, this things been giving me a pain in the ass for 2 months, it won't recenter btwn 3 and 4 gears when in neutral like it is supposed to... could I get the pics plz, and some help... thanks in advance.

Yeah defiant, believe me... I wish pacesetter was a guy, because i'd stab him and gouge his eyes out for making such crappy quality stuff... So anyone got a pic of a shifter, because i need to see how this stupid little spring mobober goes in...

Oo. The PaceSetter doesn't have a very good reputation. The B&M really is worth the coin.

The problem is they don't make a B&M for 1g's.

Actually, I believe they do, they do make other 1g short shifts other than pacesetter, i just forget which and where to get em, other ppl could chime in and tell us all.

yeah, but it is ebay, so you know its probably like... pacesetter with a b&m stamp on it.

I saw on eBay that someone is finally ripping off the B&M, the auction was starting at $60 or so.
For a 2G. I got it installed. I did have the origanal B&m, switched to an even shorter shifter and it sucked. So I had to get another, thought I would try it. It works great.

just installed OBX yesterday and it has a very nice feel. I would suggest putting some new lube in there at the same time.

I have put lube in it, i've done everything, its that the stock shifter is like 2 lbs, and this one is like 12 lbs... the spring has too much of a weight load on it.

my OBX shifter has a little more play than stock and it doesn't quite center as close as stock but it works fine. I say unless it is annoying and causing you to miss gears then leave it if it's installed correctly.

ps. the shifter should install the same as stock so as long as you kept everything in the right order it should work.

I have had it installed, and everything, but its so annoying not to recenter right... like... seriously... it completley messes me up...
