Does anyone know roughly how much it would be to have my 1st 2nd 3rd gear syncros replaced(hopefully beefed up) in a 92 fwd NT talon? Also my clutch is going out, i could do it myself but i figure if it's not too expensive i could just have it done while they do syncros, anyone know a price for a clutch install as well? Either stock replacement, or an ACT 2100 upgrade. Thank youuuuuu

I would buy a used transmission. Rebuild costs as much or more then your car (about $2000). You will be wanting a turbo car later anyway, so try to get by cheap on it. NT's are friggin cheap (mine was $600). They can easily be found for $1500, before negotiating.


Clutch about $650 (with labor).

So just get a used tranny from the junkyard, and have a shop do the tranny and clutch together.

Don't pay more then about $300 for the tranny. $500 would be like way high max I would pay for a used NT tranny.

So about $1000 altogether for the clutch, tranny and labor included.

Or about $3000 if you go rebuilt.
