So I don't see anything about rebuilding dsm transmissions on the web site anymore. are we finally cut off?
It would not surprise me, hell you got to get off the dying platforms and go to where the coin is..

Idk why. Its diy platforms like dsms that should be able to keep shops like that alive. I mean, obviously a lot of DSM owners can't afford to spend it, but the serious power builders can't afford not to. How many evos do you see running around making enough power to bust a stocker? Hell a friend of mine bought an evo x already modded, blew the engine because of a bad tune, and dropped $6k on a new 4b11. I told him he should got a DSM

I see that it is still in the description. Not sure why they don't have all the options on the site anymore. Makes me think they are trying to drop the platform.

I talked to John on Friday, he may want to chime in, but I'll share what I was told. The reason the options for DSM transmissions are no longer on his website is that he has suspended the sales until the system for placing order can be revamped. Too many instances where transmission work is requested and transmissions are sent and are obliterated are require a lot more work and the customer walks away leaving John with the shipping bill, diagnosis time, etc. unpaid. It's s a shame the community has become such cheap skates, but the old addage "you gotta pay to play" could never be more true. Young kids sending in trashed transmissions expecting to pay X price for the rebuild price listed on the website when there is absolutely nothing good with the core they sent..

Makes sense to me, I have paid for 3 rebuilds with them and have always been treated fair... Sucks people got to back out on stuff but I could see if something uncontrollable happing and the money has to go toward something else. Good to know for sure that they will still service our transmissions.
