I bought some used hks 272 cams and found out the lobes are scratched. I wish I could tell you guys how deep the scratches are, but I haven't actually seen the scratches, just told about them recently. (I don't have the cams yet). Will I be able to install these things what?

without knowing how deep the scratches are, its hard to tell. Pictures are worth a thousand words... if they are small scratches they can probably be buffed up a little without too much trouble... if they are deep, you would really need to make the same alterations on all of the lobes to make all of the valves get the same lift and flow.

Which lobes are scratched? If its the lobes that open & close the valves then your probably fine (of course depending on the severity of the scratches) as we have rollar rockers. Pics would defently help out when you get the cams. If its the lobes that the cams ride on in the head, that may be a different story.
