Up for sale is a clean, used SBR GT12 DSM bolt-on turbo. This is basically a Garrett GT3076R (700177-5012S) in a DSM bolt-on turbine housing. It will bolt directly to any DSM-flanged manifold, and is capable of peak airflow around 55 lb/min while spooling relatively-quick.

I acquired this turbo about 5 years ago from jusMX14 with the intention of using it on one of my own cars, but plans have changed. It's a VERY low-mile unit with no sign of oil leakage or abnormal shaft play for a ball bearing GT turbo.

The turbo has a standard T04E-style compressor cover (3" inlet, 2" outlet). The turbine housing is a machined MHI 7cm2 turbine housing for the absolute quickest spool possible from this type of hybrid. The turbine housing is also ceramic-coated cast gray with no cracks, stripped holes, or broken bolts of any kind. The housings are 360* adjustable so they can be clocked to line up with any oil drain or intercooler piping you may have. You can see the turbine housing is configured for an external gate off the manifold...this cannot be altered. You MUST have the ability to run an external gate off the manifold to use this turbo.

Standard Garrett GT oil lines will fit, and you can modify your stock coolant lines to work as well....the stock banjo bolts will even fit the coolant ports on the bearing housing. Very simple installation.

You MUST feed this turbo from the head with use of a .035-.040" restrictor to provide proper oiling to the bearing housing. Use of an inline filter is also highly-recommended to prevent bearing cartridge damage from possible oil contamination. Ball bearing turbos cannot be rebuilt as Garrett does not sell parts for them, so do your best to protect the turbo and it will offer you years of trouble-free service.

This turbo is VERY clean and quite hard to find these days as it is one of the original surviving SBR GT's built from an actual Garrett GT3076R and a machined MHI turbine housing. The price for this unit is just $700 shipped OBO.
