I did use aircraft stripper but it hasn't been working too great for me for some reason.

Man my VC is frustrating the hell out of me. I put 3 cans of Aircraft stripper on it to strip the paint and there is still spots with flakes on them. I even used a wire brush on a Dremel after letting the stuff sit for an hour. Sounds like fun hehe Maybe I'll just sand the rest of the paint off.
