I have searched, and read the instruction manual and cannot find exactly what my karmen readings and correction should be at with my 2g. Just a rough estimate or explanation of what the karmen reading is and what the correction is doing at any given point. Thanks to anyone who can inform me a little more on this subject! :thumb: -Matt

Karman is the type of air flow sensor not correction. It reads in hertz. The correction is how much more fuel you are adding. Basically just increasing the duty cycle. There is no way to ''set'' your Karman it is simply the type of sensor. And with your modlist, I would leave the SAFC zero'd out across the board until you upgrade turbo/injectors.

I appreciate the reply! I have it set zero'd out and wasnt planning on changing. I have a turbo coming for christmas along with the new injectors and AFPR, and then it is getting flatbedded to dynocomp. I am just trying to get an undersanding of the information it is giving me. IE: Why at WOT the cor is +4 and the karman maxes at 1400 and while not accelerating the cor is at -4. Thanks for the help! -Matt

if your correction is changing someone already altered it. They come 0 from the factory. What you are seeing is in the high throttle table that +4 % fuel is being added, while in the low throttle table -4% fuel is being removed. Just follow the instructions to set up your NE points to your selected RPM points then adjust the fuel at those points back to 0%. RRE has a good artical about the SAFC, not the SAFC2, but they are the same how the operate just the way to get around the menus have changed as well as the # of NE points.

RREs write up: http://www.roadraceengineering.com/newafcsetting.htm

Also as noted before the karman is air flow sensor type of the vehicle, your flowing 1400hz of airflow.

Yeah, I got the SAFC from my friends EVO after he had his ECU reflashed. I thought it was all zero'd out, but the low setting still had a little correction to it. Thanks alot guys!
