I tune with an SAFC, and have a question about the throttle % points. I drive a FWD, so when I launch I only give it about half throttle through 1st gear or it loses traction, but I still hit 15 psi or so of boost, so should I lower my Hi-throttle point on my SAFC? It seems to me like this would make it run really lean if it's boosting high but not using the Hi Fuel correction. Thanks.

im not sure what you are asking but that has nothing to do with why you are spinning in 1st gear that is cause no matter youll have ot feather the gas man i ru na 2.3 with a 60-1 fpred and i spin no matter what

I set mine to 25 and 50. I wasn't saying I wanted it to fix my traction problem, what I was saying is since I'm only giving it like half throttle, but it's still boosting to 15psi, it might be running lean since its not dumping the full amount of fuel in (since I'm not technically at WOT).

I was at 75, I just moved it to 50 today. The reason is when I launch I only give it about half throttle, but it boosts to 15 psi, therefore if it's only putting in low throttle amount of fuel I'd be running really lean. That is what my question was about, is this right or not?

I have mine set at 20/80

The way I see it is that you should have your hi throttle set around at what percent of throttle you're at when at full boost. So with my t28, at 50ish % throttle I am at full boost. So my throttle points seem to work better at a 20 - 55 than at say 30-80.

How an S-AFC works 101....

Any TPS under your low setting, say 20% it will use the low settings and any TPS over your High setting, say 70% it will use your high settings. For any TPS in between it will average out the numbers.

So if thats the case then cant we put 1% as the low and 99% as the high? I could never figure this out. I have mine set to 30 and 70 but no clue why everyone uses those numbers so I did too.
