safc II question

so i was just wondering if the safc II reads knock on 2g's. ive been reading the forums and thought it cant because the only way to tell knock if by looking at the timing curve and that cant be dont on the safc, only a logger. but i friend told me if i hook up the knock wire to the knock sensor it can read knock?? just curious. im new to the whole safc 2 thing. gonna try and install in within the next few days. thanks

No you can't read knock on the SAFC, but reading the dips in the timing curve can help you see where the knock is occurring.
