I got an Safc and I have no idea how or where to mount it, I got the 1g Tsi any suggestions with pictures would be a plus. Thanks for the help

You can mount it anywhere but im a fan of the more sleek/custom installs. My favorite on a 1G is in the vent bezel or in the stereo din. I'll see if i cant scrounge up some pics.

I say mount it anywhere, but dont use no adhesive to hold it down. Say your ready to remove it for dsmlink or something the adhesive will eventually tear say you put it on your dash after a while. Speaking with the experience, even if you use a razor.

in the lower din...

i found one mounted over the vents, but they make bezels that recess the safc into the ducting.

i seem people mount them on the inside of the passenger visor, and put it in the glove box

That's bad ass, thanks for the help. I'm gonna mount it this way, what did you use to make it stay like that? plexi glass?

Lower din - I replaced my 2 slot radio with a 1 slot and a pocket. I use velcro on the lower din. When I get out of the car, the safc goes in the pocket so you can't see it.

I would mount it in the trash can or on ebay...... But if you insist on using a SAFC then the lower din looks the best.

^^LOL I would mount it up above the rearview mirror if you don't want it to be too easliy seen for potential thieves.
