S-AFC wont light up?

When I plug in my SAFC (I not II) for some reason the keys on the right side light up, but I get nothing from the screen. Anyone ever have this happen? I got it for free with the car I got so I have no idea if it ever worked at all. All I want to know is if there is an easy fix for this, or if I should just bite the bullet and send it to Apexi. thanks!

There's some screws on the back of the cover - take those out so you can pull everything apart. Once inside, make sure the harness didn't come out of the clip (you'll see what I mean once you have it apart.)

If that doesn't work, I suppose you could try replacing the little battery inside of it.

That's all I can really suggest, though.

Most likely a loose connection at the ecu

i had the same problem w/ mine except nothing came on..i took those 4 screws on the back plate and pulled it off and i saw that my harness was unplugged..thats prob your best bet..try it

Took it apart, and I saw that theres a big burn mark in the upper left corner of the screen. Oh well. Thanks for all the suggestions though guys.

instead of starting a new thread.. Does anyone know if the SAFC 1 is the same siye as the SAFC 2? i need to know this before i order a Bezel for mine (and they dont make em for the SAFC 1 )

can someone measure their SAFC 2 LxWxH for me?

They are different dimensions, a bezel made for one will not accomodate the other without modifications.
