so i'm going to be tuning my car very shortly. it hits fuel cut right now, i have an s-afc. my other mods are Dejon Powerhouse Intake, IC Pipes, MBC, GReddy RS BOV, o2 Dump Housing and 2.5" o2 back exhaust no cat no res and a Walbro 190lph fuel pump. so my questions are

1. will tuning the s-afc2 rid me of my fuel cut at 15-16 psi?

2. i don't have any logger of any sort, but i'm bringing it to an awd dyno in concord, nh, am i gonna be good with what i have or what?

3. and is there any other help or advice i can get

Check for boost leaks before you do anything, as they are the #1 reason of hitting early FC.

Also without a logger or anything like that tuning yourself is impossible and if you take it somewhere there's only so much they can do on the stock Injectors.

well my buddy has a 2g gst and he had his tuned with an s-afc, stock they made 8whp and 9lb ft of tq with a raise throughout the whole power curve. i just wanna tune it as much as i can on the stock 14b with stock injectors until spring time.

There is a little power to be found by leaning out the stock AFR. But do you really want to spend the money for 8 WHP? I wouldn't if you are planning to upgrade in the spring, but that's just me.

Also, don't forget that your winter tune will change in the spring as the temperatures start to rise.

I would spend your dyno money on a logger. :thumb:

its only gonna be $70 to dyno tune it for an hour along with installing the s-afc. thought it would be a good idea until i can afford dsm link which will be a long time.

It's up to you, but I would pick up a logger. You can piece one together for about $140 if you go with the pocketlogger software.

Also, the SAFC is very easy to install. Check this out:

Easy to follow with a lot of pictures. :thumb:

Ah, Crap. I just saw that you have a 1g. Oh well, I'll leave the link there anyway just in case anyone else would need it.
