Anyone else got a large spot of rust on both sides of their engine bay near the mount for the shocks? Just doesn't seem to safe...
 
Yes and you are completely correct. It is not safe. Rust is cancer to the car. See if it is surface and if so get it removed and sealed. This happens to alot of cars with high mileage and seeing alot of snow/rain. It happens. :(
 
Haha if it's only surface... funny one. Heck no there are rust HOLES. It's disgusting, I thought about taking it to a shop to get them to cut and weld some new metal in, but with its basically part of the shock supports. Yay?
