Running rich at idle

Hey guys my car is running rich while idling, throwing black smoke out the exhaust. I've replaced the spark plugs, put wires, a new front o2 sensor, I've even checked for boost leaks and nothing was found. The car is still running rich. I've also tried to read with an obd2 scanner, but it does not recognize the vehicle, therfore it will not tell me or give me any information. Do you think maybe bad ecu? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Is the CE light on? Is the vehicle stock? Remove the ECU and see if the eprom has a chip in it, if that may be, it may have been programmed to lock out OBD2 scanners from getting info. we need more info!

CE light is not on, the car is relatively stock. Im only running a 3 in. catback, a K&N filter, and Greedy blowoff valve that is recirculated. I have not yet removed the ECU.
