Okay, here's the deal. This situation applies to the following mods: IC piping and Greddy BOV, 2.5 DP, 3 inch exhaust, MBC @ 15 psi. I was changing the spark plugs today and I noticed that my car is running extremely lean. I checked my fuel pressure guage and it's reading 40 psi. What could possibly cause a car to run lean at 15 psi with only basic mods? Also, I had been running a supra sidemount but today I switched by to the stock IC. Could this have had anything to do with it? Any ideas?

By the way, let me know if any of you are interested in a Supra Sidemount, it's in good condition.

I dont have any ideas whats wrong with your car but how much do you want for the side mount???

I'm still on the stock pump right now. I have the walboro 255 and an fpr but i don't want to install them until I get my injectors, AFC, and turbo. I agree, at 15 psi I shouldn't be running lean at all. The plugs were white as h$ll though.

Unfortunatley, I don't have a datalogger. Any suggestions as to where I should purchase one? I'm going to put the pump in, however, I wanted to take care of the problem before hand. I'm wondering if there is some sort of leak on the intake side. If so, would that cause the car to run lean?

Haha, just goes to show that those A/F guages are junk. Mine always reads rich at WOT.

Don't go by spark plug analysis to determine if you are running lean or not. I have not seen a DSM plug that hasn't had a whitish cast to it when running properly. But you show that plug to good old V8 dad, and he thinks its ready to blow up:D Use a logger to determine whether its lean or not.

Generally O2 sensors don't lie to the rich side.

Did all the plugs look the same? How long had tey been in there?

at least yours reads, mine just sits at lean all the time :(

you really shouldn't push over 13psi on the stock fuel set up. (just what i've been told)
