rough idle car hardly stays running

i just rebuilt my motor and put it back in. the problem i have is the car idles super rough. it runs ok for like 15 sec then it studders and then the idle suges back up, it repeats this for a wgile some times it quits on the frist cycle through other times it runs for a couple of minutes then dies. What could it be?? also i installed a bsek and i was wondering will that creat a nosie that sounds like really load valve clatter?? because i have a loud noise comming from the cam gear/ valve area

Sense you have a chatter make sure its not the lifters cause dsms always have that lifter nosie. Did you have any head work done.

i bought a whole 4g63t motor from a junk yard from a car that spun a balance shaft bearing. i had the head sent to a machine shop and looked over and cleaned. the machinst said it was fine so i put it on.
