Rod oil clearance

Hey guys. I'm building my GST and I'm onto installing my rods and pistons in my block. I measured my rod oil clearance and it's at .002. I was wondering if that was to tight? And If I kept it that way, what's the best oil to run? I'm running scat rods with ACL STD bearings

.002" sounds good. You could run 10W/30 for mild power levels or use 20W/50 if it's putting out big power.

Yeah im shootin between 450-500

break it in with 10w/30, then change to 20w/50 when you tune it for high boost.

.002" sounds right/correct to me.

If I had one of my million 4g63 spec sheets I could confirm it without a shadow of a doubt.
