OK, I know nothing. I guess hearing the whine of an EL inverter change in pitch when brightness is changed is only my imagination.

Hey guys

Sorry i haven't been able to post the pictures. I was so busy with going out and stuff.
The potmeter wires were so thin, every time i soldered it it broke off, and the potmeter was not of good quality. The tiniest shake of the potmeter would turn off the gauge plates. So i just bypassed it by soldering the 2 wires together. Here is a pic before it broke off.

Next up was to tuck all the wires in the back. I found a hole to the left bottom corner where the foglight switches are. I extended both the power and the ground with a thicker gauge wire. The ground I O-ringed onto a screw directly behind the tach assembly.
The power wire i Vamp tapped onto the upper non functional switch i have on top of the fog light switch (green with white stripe).
