[RESOLVED] What color is this 2g?

I don't know if this is a factory Mitsu color or if this guy got his painted but i know that this is the exact color i want mine painted here soon and i figured it'd help whoever i get to paint it if i knew for sure what color is was.

I'm going to go with a GunMetal but if anyone knows for sure then please post it on here.

That's the same color as my car, which is a factory color. The color code is A24, and i don't think it has a special name or anything im pretty sure its just called dark grey.

I'm just trying to find out the name and/or code so when i decide to get mine painted i'll know what to tell the guy. I don't wanna just tel him gunmetal and have it come out different than i expected ya know?

I didn't even know they came with that color stock. If it were me, I'd call it a pearlescent pewter grey.

Well i am sitting in class and i decided that i should just go out and check my car. The color code is ACTUALLY A87, seems that A24 is possibly just used by paintscratch?? The name of the color like stated above by rich is Magenta Grey Pearl.

A87 is actually mitsubishi dialect for extremely sexy.

^^ Hahaha I would but my motor is in the stages of being rebuilt so i'll have myself a fresh DSM . My 99 OZ was the burgandy color with black/tan interior. Sexy

The actual name of the paint is Barcelona Red. So technically it's not purple at all and it really isn't. I told my friends that all the time.

Yea my car is the same color as the one the OP asked about, the color code is A87 not A27.

The only problem with that color is that over time it fades to a gray color but it comes off the show room floor a purplish gray. My sister had a 420a talon esi and she tore the front bumper off so I put a new one on. I also sent the wing and mirrors to get painted at the same time (they were faded) and they all came back with a purple tone. We never knew the car was a purple color untill I had to fix it.

Yes you can see my bumper in the second pick is darker then the rest of the car, that was freshly painted. I like the color alot but it shows every imperfection!
