[RESOLVED] how to replace clutch

ok just got home from my aunts house and i got on the car and as soon as i hit boost the clutch slipped bad. Its good aslong as i dont' get on it. So question is do i have to remove the motor and tranny to change the clutch or can i get to it from underneath? Oh another quick question does anyone have any recomendations for the clutch i should get? Now i have just the solid street disk from act, but was wanting the sprung 6 puck act clutch. Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks...

You have to take the transmission out.
If your not going to go crazy a act 2100 or 2600 will be more than enough.

so motor has to come back out again SHIT oh well gotta do what you gotta do thanks for the help...

The motor doesn't have to come out. Just drop the transmission out the bottom which still is a bit of a b####. Check the how to article at VFAQ.com it is really helpful.

i did that twice in two weeks ,so for me to take the tranny out ,is like to fill the gas at the gas station :

so since your really good at it now is there anything i need to watch out for or ways i can do it with a little more ease..

well mines is FWD which is way easier to do then an AWD.so with AWD tranny you got to do a lil more work,cause you got a t-case.
