My driving lights, tail lights and the dash lights inside my car do not work. Why because my fuse under my hood blew, it is a 15. Well so i replaced it and turned on my driving lights and boom, blows again. I even unpowered my amp and sub i put in today and boom, blew it yet again. I have gone through 4 fuses and i don't understand why it keeps doing it. My turning signals work and my headlights and my amp and sub but not my driving, tail and dash lights.

My friend has the exact same problem believe it or not and he did a temp fix by wiring his dimmer switch to another power source and switch.

What could i try that would fix this short or whatever that i am having??

PLEASE HELP! We don't know where to start from here

you may have a wire that is grounding out. Your tail, driving and dash lights all run off that fuse but its probably the tail lights because they can get a lot of corrossion. check the wires from the tail and driving lights and work you way in to the fuse box. Clean all the wires and look for bare wires and there can be more than one short in a length of wire.

hery man im having hte same problem. Everything except the fuse part. So the dash lights and parking lights all run on one fuse??? can u be more specific about which one it is????

I got an email from someone here on tuners asking about this thread, so I figure I would update it.

The problem was I just installed a new headunit and some of the wires were not taped and capped properly. Once I fixed those, they didn't short out anymore and I was good to go.
