replacing t25 to 16g

hey guys... i'm just wondering if i could replace my old t-25 to 16g.(it self, turbo only...) without the supporting mods....i know it sounds crazy but.. im not into racing or anything.. i just wanna replace my old to turbo...and do it myself...im a newb by the way... sorry for using the new thread.. i just decide to replace it.. coz when the car is in idle, theres some white smoke coming out.. its not a thick smoke.. just very lightly..maybe the engine is not hot enough...?? i'll make a video one of these days... also im not sure my bov is recirculated or not... i will take photo also so u guys can see it...lastly i run a (diagnostic) scanner make sure the car have no issues in the engine..and no code come out...

any help is really appreciate it... thank u!

If you don't alter the boost levels, then yes you'd be fine. You will however have to get a jpipe and a lower pipe to route it to the intercooler. There are a few vendors that sell 2g kits that have these. They also come with an oil feed line as well.

Either way though I'd recommend a fuel pump rewire kit from STM. They are like 30 bucks and make sure your fuel pump is getting the proper voltage to function correctly.

I've had a 98 GS T (just sold it) with a EVO 16g and stock injectors with a 190 lph Wally (not hotwired) and I can run 17 psi with stock injectors (450s) and stock intercoolers. Anymore boost than that and you will hit fuel cut !!!! I have a Big T 28 and EVO 16 G for sale, also a hotwire kit. Both fresh rebuilds with 0 mi. let me know if you are interested. If you put either one of these on you will not recognize your car !!!!!!!!!!!!

did we not already have this conversation?....the turbo will... 99% not fix your smoke problem there buddy. sorry. but you will need..

here is a 2g...16g install kit.

You might need new turbo bolts...(manifold to the turbo) and possible new studs from manifold to head.
