Replace catalytic w/ Test pipe? does it work?

The tin foil trick didn't work for me and neither did the 1MOhm resistor/capacitor along with the heater element resistor.
I gave in and bought the $39 box from importparts.com Will get here Fri. Will let u know how it works
 
cool yeah im interested cause my test pipe should be here any day. i've seen the box your talking about i heard you have to drill a hole under the rear seat and put it there ? does this sound right ?
 
I won't be drilling any holes...the wires for the ecu-02sensor are right there under the seat. I'll have to see what I need to run when I get the simulator, but I might mount it up near the ecu and plug the hole going to the outside of the car.
