removing stock 92 mitsu eclipse wing

how do you remove the stock wrap around wing on a 1992 mitsubishi eclipse 2.0 non turbo?? i like the no wing clean sleek look . so can someone please tell me.

are u talking about the 3 piece turbo spoiler? i dont know what the non turbo wing looks like, but i think 1gs without the turbo spoiler look so ugly.

i guess its the turbo wing . it wraps around the back end. but how do u remove it? i hate the way it looks .

first you are going to need to remove your antenna and the piece it srcews into. then there are two screws on the side pieces that need to be removed. then pull or push cant remember which way comes right off. the middle piece has two 10mm bolts on the underside of the trunk lid thing. i dont remember if the sides have screws on them. and you have to take you back windshield wiper off too. hope this helps

but the 2 bolts can turn all day without coming out. why is that? maybe i shouold just take pliers and graband pull and turn ? i mean i out to take a grinder and cut the top part off .

the plastic pieces inside are most likely broken. try lifting up on the wing while you are turning them.might help

are there any kits or direct bolt on spoilers for the 1g like the stock 2g spoiler
