Removing B&M SHifter Shoulder

The purple part. I having issues removing it. I tryed hitting it with a rubber mallet. Tryed having a helper pull the shifter all the way towards the driver side with a folder shop rag and hitting it with a brass mallet.

Greased it up with pb blaster and tryed again.

Anyone else tryed to remove one of these?

Mark this resolved mods. I heated it up with the heatgun and it came right off.
