Pros and cons about removing your timing cover and driving like that , the car isnt a daily driver so i dont think it would be to bad but just wondering???

Only if you have the pre-vented camshaft cover. But you must convert to dry lubrication first, so it doesn't leak all over the firewall. And this necessitates the butyl-pneumatic inserts in the lifters to make up for the air's higher compressability compared to the old oil. It goes on and on.Originally posted by qwall

I still havent got around to finding one either, i've driven it in the rain, snow.. dirt , etc.. so far nothing has got in there, but i've heard many stories as too what can happen if anything does
