will someone recommend a exhaust that will fit with the random tech cat's.
I think I need one with like 2, 2 1/2 inch piping. I was planing to get the dc sport ss exhaust but I heard some people say that the piping is to big and it will be a over kill because the car will be a non-turbo. I need a exhaust that will fit a hight flow cat from random tech and preform well to. I don't want to weld it either. some one help. It needs to be for a 2g eclipse.

Why not fill out your profile, so we know what kind of car it is. Yea it's a 2g, but turboAWD, turboFWD, or N/T. Fill the profile out ot make everyone's life easier...

As for exhaust, it comes down to a matter of preferance really.

Have it custom made, That is the cheapest, And the best exhaust you can possibly get. My friend got a 3" turboback exhaust for $35.00 ready to install. 2 1/2" is not too large, Whoever is telling you this.. Needs to stop talking.

2 1/2" exhaust is not that big. My friend got a n/t catback from a company and it is 3 1/4 I believe. It runs fine and did not ruin the car. If you don't have personal experience with the size exhaust on the car, I don't think you should say anything.

Sorry, my mistake. When I owned a miata a couple years ago, I did upgraded the exhaust on it. 99% of the people back then said that a 2 1/2 in pipe on n/a miata would very loud and sound like crap. I guess now of days, they make it in 2 1/2 inch piping.

If you want to see exactly where I got this info : here. They are the miata kings there.
IMPORTANT: this is for a 1.6/1.8 sized motor (to avoid confusion)

3 1/4 inch piping on your friend's car? Just curious but what made him/her decide to have piping that big on a n/t?

check out MeganRacing.com for their catback. i put one on my 96 N/T and i love it. it has 2.5" piping and end narrows to 2.25" for cat. converter. it's not near the cost of dc sports and similar ones, but its still a quality system.

I am confused I really want the dc sport ss exhaust and the headers so If I pick the MeganRacing cat will it work with the dc sport exhaust and headers.
If not can you recommend a exhaust that can because I cant Find one.
