i was talking to someone and he told me to keep the rear strut bar a little loose i guess its better around corners, is this true?

Ummmm...whoever told you that is probably borderline retarded. The point of the rear strut bar is to make the rear chassis more solid to reduce chassis flex during hard cornering thus promoting oversteer as well as making your steering more predictable. You obviously do not want to "over" tighten the damn thing, but to say "leave it loose", is a little ambigous. You just don't want it to be rattling around back there, or it won't serve its purpose.

Sounds pretty assinine to me. Chassis bracing is there to tighten things up. Doesn't make much sense to put some slop back into it.
