hey i had the same problem i fix it my self is not to hard, i bought the bushings kit on ebay it was $99.00 plus shipping it comes with front and rear bushings also includes the shifter bushings and the struts bushings, plus is a really good brand (energy suspension).

if you have the time to fixed is worth it. i spent one day(8 hr) in the rear end.

There really arent any temp fixes for that. But hey you can try getting some windo weld and putting it in a syringe and injecting it in there. Let it cure and hope that it fixes it. Dont know if it'll work or if anybody ever tried it.

thanks for the replys. keep them comin. yeah i know about the energy suspension option...but i really don't have the time to torch out the bushings and hacksaw the sleeves out...then put the new ones it. is that really my only option? there has got to be some kind of cheap temperary fix that i can do. anyone?

Which arms and which busings? None of the arms and bushings are terribly expensive from the dealer.

If they are the big bushings on top. Let me guess your car makes a nasty clunk when you go over a bump. Those are the rear knuckle bushings. Mitsubishi will try to tell you that you need a new arm. BS. I got mine from http://www.mitsubishigraveyard.com/ for $35 shipped. Hey look I even found them for sale by graveyard on ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/95-9...ewItemQQcategoryZ42609QQitemZ8010573850QQrdZ1, how nice of me.LOL. Installing them is a pain in the a## because you have to cut and pound out the metal sleeve that the stock bushing sat in to fit the new prothane bushings. You neeed to build a custom little bushing press aswell. If you need help getting them out/in shoot me a pm and I will tell you how I did it. :thumb:
And by the way why are you looking for a temp fix to $30. The job may be a pain in the ass but it will only take a few hours, not days. And you cannot temp fix them sorry man.

the bushing in the rear wear the knuckle connects to the a-arm

Ohhh, that bushing. I retract my previous statement. Mitsubishi won't try to sell you a control arm, they will want to sell you a knuckle. Advice posted above is good: look into urethane kits or used.

thanks t3/t4eclipse...yeah i knew about that solution...i was just hoping there was another answer (you know us noobs). but i thank you for your advice...what a nice guy haha. you can go ahead and pm me the way to get them out/in if youre bored. that would be a great help. thanks bro...i owe you one.
